Q: I’d like to use one or more of your songs on my CD, I’m planning on selling some but most of them I’m giving away for free is that cool?
A: Thanks for wanting to record our songs, they mean a lot to us and we feel really grateful that’d you’d want to sing them as well! Over the years we’ve written quite a few songs and at various places in our career where we’ve made music in partnership with record labels, publishing companies, and/or other writers we’ve also shared in the ownership of those songs with those various parties. Since we’re not the sole owners of those songs you’ll have to get clearance from all the owners in order to use them for CD’s, DVD’s, etc. There are companies that represent all parties involved that exist to make this process as painless and efficient as possible and will be able to answer any questions you have.

Q: Hey but didn’t you just hear what I said about giving them away for free?
A: Yes, I’m sorry but that applies to any uses of songs that you or we don’t control the rights of...keeps you legal and us legal.
Q: I’ve got some great songs that the world has got to hear, will Don produce my next record?
A: You’re in luck! Don produces a select number of amazing records every year. Because every artist and every record is different we’d need for you to send an email to us with what timeframe you have to work with, and if possible provide a link to your music in addition to your name, phone number, and email address.
Q: I’d love for Waterdeep to come play at my school, club, church, coffee house, basement, etc., how does that work?
A: Great question. Don and Lori are currently the only touring members of Waterdeep, and due to the large number of booking requests they receive they’re only able to perform at select number engagements throughout the year. Each event looks different from one to the next step from here is to email us to get the answers you’re looking for about your event. Please include as many details as you can about your event in your email (date, city, state, venue, sponsoring organization if applicable, your name, phone number, email address, etc.)
Q: Will Waterdeep/Don/Lori play at my benefit event?
A: As mentioned above, due to the large number of booking requests they receive they’re only able to perform at select number engagements throughout the year, but please send an email to get the answers you’re looking for about your event.
